Initial Google Phone was not something which I ever liked, main reason due to its bulky design, and also, not so cool form factor. However, it seems a new Google G1 is under process, and this time I am as excited as I am seeing a new Nokia phone. This revamped model has got style , and looks too. Along with this the slide our QWERTY keypad is very familiar one and would surely win hearts. Even though , the front panel looks too iPhonish , I am sure its gonna be one amongst the best seller if launched anytime soon.

Great going Google, and its a amazing revamped design. Just keep things coming like this, and make them official as early as possible.

Sony’s NEW Alpha Series DSLR’s Get Leaked : Alpha 230, 330, and 380 Upto 14 Megapixel

Guys, we have got leaked screenshots of Sony’s NEW Alpha Series DSLR’s i.e Alpha 230, 330, and 380 and the Megapixel has shot up to 14.2 Megapixel.

The biggest improvements seem to be smaller cases, a revised interface, and HDMI out, but there’s also a new "handbook" to help new users get started and a Bravia control mode that allows the camera to be controlled by your TVs remote while it’s displaying pictures.

Lets just wait for the official announcement from Sony, and till then lets keep our fingers crossed for something groundbreaking coming out.

Facebook now let user browse in 6 Major Indian Languages

With its step to get to the number one position of Social Networking website, Facebook will now provide its user to navigate in Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam and Telugu.

But there is a major catch in this, its just about browsing the site, not message or update their status. The site is not yet enabled for transliteration.

To get these language pack , you need to Go to Settings, and change language Settings through Language option. This could be just a step forward to beat orkut, which provide transliteration ( thanks for google labs ) , and hence connect to indian population at more personal level. However, with this step Facebook hopes to connect to the Indian audience on a more local level.

All the best facebook, I hope someday , you will make me create an account with you. ( Yeah I am still not on Facebook )

Nokia , Why we need a Cloned E55 i.e. Nokia E52 ??

I think something is seriously wrong with Nokia. With everyone trying to grab the touchscreen market, here is one of the top handset manufacturer, busy , in cloning its own models. and Why ?? Who knows better other than Nokia ???

Nokia E52 .. Why Why Why ???

Nokia conversations , went ga ga , posting that Nokia E52 is released with High battery life. However, trying to compare E55 and E52 , we realize that both have the same battery Capacity and even the same Talktime.

Only difference you will be able to make out, is the Keypad. Nokia E55 comes with something which is called as Half QWERTY , and Nokia E52 comes with a normal mobile keypad, the alpha Numeric. However, Just cloning devices , I wonder till when can help Nokia.

I feel that, Nokia is trying to give space to the highly anticipated Nokia N97, so that , the press and publicity, dont go away from it. Nokia N97 releases in another one month, and I am sure , after its release , Nokia would have enough time to re-think about its strategy.

Mobile VPN !! is that New ??

One thing which interested me was the special mention of Mobile VPN. As stated in Nokia Conversation

Mobile VPN is built in to make it easy to access company intranets. This comes with Call Connect support, which enables businesses to integrate Nokia mobile devices with corporate phone systems, enabling users to be contactable through a single number, have a single voicemail box and offer least-cost call routing.

However, do you think you need clones from Nokia ??? I think I am done with waiting something big from Nokia, I think its really long since they announced any touchscreen phone. Nokia N97 was way back in Dec’2008 .

Keep waiting .. there is something in the box … atleast lets hope.

Its girly , actually very girly , and its really beautiful. Its a bluetooth concept which can reform itself into an earing. Once come true, it would be in the most wanted list for females , due to its feminine appeal. The design stand upto its name, and you can feel the ripple design in the pictures below. The design is said to deliver crystal clear sound, and a rubber earring clasp attaches the headset to your ear just like an earring. No ear hooks necessary here (only a hole in your ear). Activation of the headset is as simple as flipping down the mic, or pressing the center button.

What a co-incidence, we thought it might get released tomorrow, and it happened today. So ladies and gentlemen, here is the newspaper killer unveiled at a whopping price of US $ 489. However, the keys has gone small , very small actually. So, you know what the future going to be, right ?? If not,then let me tell you, If All goes well, you might be finding out yourself reading New York Times on kindle, a year later.

Cost cutting is something, this kindle will provide to the newspaper publisher, but remember, Cost cutting also come at a Cost, and this time the cost is US $ 489.

Larger Kindle on May 7th 2009 ?? Newspapers Under Threat !!

So the future of reading is going to replace newspapers ?? I bet not !!

So what these guys have planned ?? They have planned to tie up with Amazon and find a solution whether the kindle goodness can be made available for newspaper. Hence, a Larger kindle was inevitable as Amazon was more than happy in providing the solution. Moreover, it may even work out for cost-reduction for these recession hit companies. Paper cost can be cut down and concept of E-paper after E-book will be widely used.

But it is Amazon, maker of the Kindle, that appears to be first in line to try throwing an electronic life preserver to old-media companies. As early as this week, according to people briefed on the online retailer’s plans, Amazon will introduce a larger version of its Kindle wireless device tailored for displaying newspapers, magazines and perhaps textbooks.

An Amazon spokesman would not comment, but some news organizations, including The New York Times, are expected to be involved in the introduction of the device, according to people briefed on the plans. A spokeswoman for The Times, Catherine J. Mathis, said she could not comment on the company’s relationship with Amazon.

Also the inside leek suggest that , first to go on Kindle-the Large might be New York Times. But , will people use it ?? Thats the big question everyone is having now, after all Kindle does not come cheap and also , the satisfaction in flipping newspaper, can never be achieved by Flipping E-paper … Isnt it ??

However, lets hope something pops out of Amazon Kindle. However, I am sure, now the kindle demographics of above 40 will change.

Hey Did you think James Bond Car was costly ?? The invisible one !!

Ok , so you were among those who thought that James bond invisible (or camouflaged ) car was just too costly . Well no more, you can get your done too in matter of three weeks, with the whole project funded. Well !! well !!! well !!! , but there is a catch, once done, your car wont be used for anything else other than a showpiece parked in open.

So immovability is the price you pay to do such kinda stuff with your car. So ok fine, let me come to the actual news, design student Sara Watson turned her old beater of a car invisible in a mere three weeks, and it didn’t even cost her that much. Of course, she can’t drive it now, and it’s only invisible from a certain angle.

A near to perfect ILLUSION

Yeah, thats the key … Illusion … The whole thing was done with paint , and the car is now being used as advertising for the local recycling firm that donated the Skoda Fabia to Watson for the project.

This is what Sara has to say

“I was experimenting with the whole concept of illusion but needed something a bit more physical to make a real impact. People have been stopping in the street to look and coming up and almost bumping into it, so it’s had the desired effect.”

All I can say is that , people has concepts and amazing skills to do such stuffs… Hats off to you girl

With 6 out of 10 spots , Nokia has clearly turned out to be a winner. Seems like Nokia 5800 is giving a tough competition to Samsung Omnia HD. Though it is rather surprising a pretty simple handset as the Nokia 3109 takes the no. 1 position this month. We all know that most people who buy a smart phone or a more expensive device prefer to protect it with a case. Now also phones in the lower price range frequently shows up on our list.

Anyways, hats off to nokia for attaining the top amongst the list.

Microsoft go girly to beat Apple Iphone , leaks Pink

So how can Microsoft beat The mighty Apple iPhone ?? Its as simple as such … By going very girly.

Yeah very true, Microsoft’s project, which is code-named "Pink," aims to produce a phone that will extend the tech giant’s Windows Mobile operating system, adding new software capabilities. It would also likely include Microsoft’s new Windows Marketplace for Mobile, a store for cellphone downloads along the lines of Apple’s App Store and along with all this, will kill iphone.

I seriously can’t understand, why these guys cant understand a simple logic ?? The only way to beat iPhone is not be another iPhone.. iPhone has lots of shortcomings and these guys can easily beat iPhone. But again and again, by just concentrating on beating iPhone, or just trying to compete iPhone, these guys are just losing the focus.

iPhone is a great device backed by highly responsive user interface which is damm simple to use too. Full finger friendly nature , and some cool fluid transition. Now, do you need a secret project to beat such kinda device.

However, following the Apple footsteps, Microsoft slowly want to enter the highly lucrative mobile phone market, and I hope that they are able to build a highly capable mobile phone.

A Verizon plot

Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon Communications Inc. and Vodafone Group PLC, is separately developing its own mobile application store, which it plans to announce soon, according to people familiar with Verizon’s plans.The Microsoft-Verizon relationship is evolving from a search-and-advertising partnership the companies struck early this year. The companies have been working on the Pink project for several months, but haven’t yet decided key details such as how the device would be branded.

I think by doing such stuffs, is the only way Verizon will be able to beat AT&T.

Atleast I hope so…..
