I think something is seriously wrong with Nokia. With everyone trying to grab the touchscreen market, here is one of the top handset manufacturer, busy , in cloning its own models. and Why ?? Who knows better other than Nokia ???
Nokia E52 .. Why Why Why ???
Nokia conversations , went ga ga , posting that Nokia E52 is released with High battery life. However, trying to compare E55 and E52 , we realize that both have the same battery Capacity and even the same Talktime.
Only difference you will be able to make out, is the Keypad. Nokia E55 comes with something which is called as Half QWERTY , and Nokia E52 comes with a normal mobile keypad, the alpha Numeric. However, Just cloning devices , I wonder till when can help Nokia.
I feel that, Nokia is trying to give space to the highly anticipated Nokia N97, so that , the press and publicity, dont go away from it. Nokia N97 releases in another one month, and I am sure , after its release , Nokia would have enough time to re-think about its strategy.
Mobile VPN !! is that New ??
One thing which interested me was the special mention of Mobile VPN. As stated in Nokia Conversation
Mobile VPN is built in to make it easy to access company intranets. This comes with Call Connect support, which enables businesses to integrate Nokia mobile devices with corporate phone systems, enabling users to be contactable through a single number, have a single voicemail box and offer least-cost call routing.
However, do you think you need clones from Nokia ??? I think I am done with waiting something big from Nokia, I think its really long since they announced any touchscreen phone. Nokia N97 was way back in Dec’2008 .
Keep waiting .. there is something in the box … atleast lets hope.
